The Bible Studio is the outreach hub for A Voice in the Wilderness, a fellowship of Read the Bible.
Our focus is quite simple: Love God, love people, and be a light to the world.
Below you will find a few of the ways we try to make this happen.
Each week, we host an Erev Shabbat (Friday evening) meal that is open to anyone that's interested in joining. Being in a college town, we tend to attract a large student following, and our focus is to love on them and provide them with a great meal -- with no teaching. We reserve worship and teaching for our Torah Study on Saturday mornings.
In addition to these weekly events, we celebrate the Feasts and minor Holidays as large as we can!
You can find an array of articles here. Some of these are meanderings, others are thoughts formed through banter in our studies. Either way, we hope you may find some of it insightful for your own walk.
Although it is in its infancy, we are starting to livestream on our YouTube channel. If you can't join us live, feel free to check out our archived services.
*This is our next major focus so check back regularly for more (and better) content.
If you're interested in learning about the active prayer going on in our fellowship, you may want to head over to our prayer site Let's Pray Together. Here you will find weekly prayer topics we feel are important for the Body in this hour.
A portion of our donations is passed along to our local food pantry, Socorro Storehouse. They have done a wonderful job helping those in need for many years and it is our honor to support them anyway we can.
Our social media feed is a bit on the lighter side. Truths captured within the framework of pop-culture is the major theme, and our hope is that it springboards people into reading the Bible.
